POLYMER INDUSTRY
We have significant experience in the manufacturing of thermotropic polymers by batch and continuous processes for film, fiber and bottle applications. At N.H. ANDREAS CO., INC. we are experts on scrap recovery methods, extrusion, metering, filtration of gels and filter cleaning processes.

We invented and own the S.A.C (Sintered Alloy Cleaners) Technology and have used same to provide filter cleaning services to:

We set the world standard for hard hub sintered powder metal filters for the PET film industry working with Pechiney Ugine Kuhlmann ( FRANCE).

NUCLEAR INDUSTRY

We perfected first metal HEPA filters for nuclear aerosol filtration and venting of nuclear power plants working with Bekaert Fiber Technologies(BELGIUM) and Krantz-TKT(GERMANY). These filters are now deployed on most European nuclear power plants and N.H. ANDREAS CO., INC. has market rights for this technology on USA based nuclear power plants.

We have designed filter media for nuclear waste sample collection at the Hanford site, facilities for nuclear scrap recovery processes and the first solid phase isotope blending process to permit the reuse of scrap uranium dioxide. Other experience includes operation of a sub-critical R&D reactor and operation and engineering of nuclear waste water treatment plants.

POROUS METAL MEDIA

We perfected the first 12inch Fiber Felt Filter Capsules for the production of PET substrate films for VHS tape applications and set the world standard for hard hub sintered powder metal filters for PET film applications.
